GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (March 12, 2019) – Retired U.S. Marine Corps Col. James Howcroft, Marshall Center’s program director for the Program on Terrorism and Security Studies, hands out the “Combatting Transnational Terrorism” textbook to the seven future participants during the graduation ceremony of English Language Enhancement Course March 12 here. This book will used daily during PTSS 19-07 and was edited by the Marshall Center’s PTSS Team. Professor James Wither and Dr. Sam Mullins edited the book, which has contributions from PTSS alumni. This ELEC is a specially tailored program for participants who will be attending the Marshall Center’s Program on Terrorism and Security Studies, which starts March 13 and ends April 11. Daily photos from this course and PTSS 19-07 will be on the Marshall Center Photo Gallery. (DOD photo by U.S. Army Sgt. Richard Gerszewski)
