Spc. Joseph Campos, a sniper from California National Guard’s 1st Squadron, 18th Cavalry Regiment, communicates via radio to a Soldier within 500 meters to attempt to identify the concealed sniper with the Jordan Armed Forces’ 10th Border Guard Force during the stalking and concealment qualification on Feb. 25, 2019, at a range outside of Amman, Jordan. During the training, soldiers are tasked with stalking an objective to within 500 meters, neutralizing the target, and exfiltrating, all while remaining undetected. Training side-by-side, the U.S. Army and JAF continue to build a shared understanding of each other’s tactics, techniques and procedures through the ongoing, strong partnership created by the Jordan Operational Engagement Program.
