MANILA, Philippines (March 13, 2019) - Rear Admiral Theodore LeClair, deputy commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, meets with his Republic of the Philippines Navy counterpart, Rear Adm. Rommel Jude G. Ong, vice commander of the Philippine Navy, at Philippine Naval Base Cavite for a mil-to-mil engagement. LeClair and 7th Fleet staff are embarked aboard 7th Fleet flagship, USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), the oldest operational ship in the U.S. Navy, and actively work to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific Region.
