Sgt. Jonathan Sweetman, a White Platoon scout from Bulldog Troop, 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, scans for insurgent activity after receiving accurate small-arms fire during a reconnaissance patrol near Combat Outpost Delorean, Bala Murghab, Baghdis Province, Afghanistan, Jan. 9, 2011. The scouts patrolled following a four-hour complex ambush, and identified insurgent points of cover for future mortar missions.
