Lance Cpl. Derrik J. Baker from Bravo Battery (B Btry), 1st Battalion 12th Marine Regiment, Task Force Military Police (1/12 TFMP), stands duty for one of the watch towers inside the Regional Detention Facility (RDF) in Camp Fallujah, Iraq, June 2. Baker is one of the many Marines from B Btry who deals with daily detainee security operations for the RDF. 1/12 TFMP is deployed with Multi National Forces-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi Security Forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms, and continue the development of a market based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
