U.S. Air Force Capt. Cameron D. Vickroy, an Airman assigned to 40th Airlift Squadron, 317th Airlift Operations Group, 317th Airlift Wing, Dyess Air Force Base, TX, pilots a U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules during cold load M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) rehearsals in preparation for “Operation Phantom Flight” on March 5, 2019 at Henry Post Army Airfield, Fort Sill, OK. “Operation Phantom Flight” is a HIMARS Rapid Infiltration (HIRAIN) exercise that will test the unit’s ability to successfully load and secure the HIMARS and link with the aircraft’s Joint Precision Airdrop System (JPADS) while in flight.
