Retired Major Ken Hinton (C) helps corral athletes with the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program staff. He has stepped up to help out wherever he can while still giving his all in competition at the 2019 Air Force Trials at Nellis AFB, Nev. Air Force Trials is a Paralympic-style competitive event featuring eleven adaptive sports. It has a two-fold purpose, one is to select the 40-person primary and 10-person alternate members for Team Air Force. The second is to highlight the effectiveness of adaptive sports in aiding wounded warriors in their recovery and long-term resiliency. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Shawn Sprayberry)
