A Fort McCoy Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers member participate in a wood-pen workshop Feb. 21, 2019, at the Army Community Service Wood Shop at Fort McCoy, Wis. Fort McCoy’s BOSS program president said more single Soldiers should be a part of the group. The group not only holds fun events like the wood-pen workshop but also participates in community-support events. Community-support events affect local communities positively, help members acquire additional life skills and knowledge, and build community connections.
