A ribbon-cutting ceremony reopens The Dive March 1, 2019, on the Joint Base Charleston Naval Weapons Station. Participating in the grand reopening are, left to right: Dr. Robert Frash, College of Charleston associate professor; Lt. Col. William Parker, 628th Force Support Squadron commander; Col. Terrence Adams, 628th Air Base Wing and Joint Base Charleston commander; U.S. Navy Capt. Andrew Peterson, Navy Nuclear Power Training Command commander; U.S. Air Force Capt. Steven Braddick, 628th Civil Engineer Squadron engineering element chief; and Gunther Greimel, The Dive general manager. The Dive shut down in April 2018 for renovations and upgrades.
