U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Mark E. Woodard gives a tour of the VMM-265 hangar to members of the Japanese Consulate on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 26, 2019. The consulate team joined Marines of VMM-265 for an award ceremony in which the consulate presented awards and citations to members of VMM-265 for their joint force efforts and interoperability. This ceremony and the performance of the Marines awarded demonstrates the strong alliance between the U.S. forces, the Japan Prime Minister and the Supreme Commander of Japan both domestically and abroad.
