Nicholas Roden, medics with 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team,1st Infantry Division from Baltimore and Moline, Ill., respectively, at Forward Operating Base Falcon after being pinned with the Army Commendation Medal with "V" device for valor and the Combat Medic Badge July 20. While both were honored, they take it in stride. "I was just doing my job," Bryant said.
