A smoke grenade lies on the ground smoldering after being used during an airdrop mission at the Yuma Proving Grounds, Ariz. Feb. 26, 2019. Smoke from the grenade allows C-130 Hercules navigators to identify the drop zone location during an annual training exercise called Operation Snowbird.
