A canister creates plumes of green smoke Jan. 17, near the location of a soldier marked as a “gunshot wound” at Fort Carson, Colo. Two squads of soldiers were completing a Warrior Leader Course situational exercise. The multicomponent course offered at Fort Carson is organized by the 168th Regiment, Regional Training Institute. Soldiers who are ready for non-commissioned officer promotions must attend WLC, which is open to all occupational specialties.
