SAN DIEGO (March 1, 2019) Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Ardlejohn Rosales, a first kiss winner, assigned to Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47), kisses his fiance after returning to homeport. Rushmore, of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group, returned to its homeport of San Diego following a successful eight-month deployment to the U.S. 5th and 7th fleet areas of operation.
