Bruce Rogers, a wounded warrior athlete, is attending the 2019 Air Force Trials at Nellis AFB, Nev. this week. He is getting instruction in the fundamentals of sitting volleyball from the Air Force Wounded Warrior Program coaching staff. The 2019 Air Force Trials is a Paralympic-style competitive event featuring 11 adaptive sports including both individual and team sports. The athletes competing at this event are vying for one of 40 primary and 10 alternate positions to represent Team Air Force at the Department of Defense Warrior Games in Tampa, Florida this June.
