Soldiers of Company C, 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 194th Armor, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, bow their heads in prayer before they begin a mission into Iraq Dec. 6, 2011. The company, based in Camp Virginia, Kuwait, since July, provided convoy escort security for thousands of trucks entering and exiting Iraq. The long haul mission was one of the final for the soldiers.
