NOVA ALIANCA, Brazil (Feb. 19, 2019) Brazilian and U.S. Navy physicians conduct a medical clinic in Nova Alianca, Brazil, Feb. 19. The visit marks the fourth stop of a month-long mission by four U.S. Navy physicians and their Brazilian navy counterparts embarked aboard Brazilian Navy Oswaldo Cruz-class hospital ship NAsH Carlos Chagas (U 19) to exchange medical expertise and to bring medical care to isolated communities along the Amazon River.
