Retired U.S. Army Lt. Col. Mark Ochsenbein delivers at the Saint Barbara’s Ceremony held at the Fort Smith Convention Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas on Feb. 9.
Ochsenbein is an Army veteran who served a little over twenty years in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He has been awarded the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal with silver, bronze oak leaf clusters, Air Medal with “V” device, Army Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Army Achievement Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal (Saudi Arabia), Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait), Master Aviator Badge, Master Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, Special Forces Tab, Honduras Jump Wings, Thailand Jump Wings, and Thailand Balloon Jump Wings.
