Marines assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 369, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, conduct a pre-flight inspection of a UH-1Y while an AV-8B Harrier with Marine Attack Squadron (VMA) 311, MAG-13, takes off from Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., Feb. 15. Over the course of several hours, more than 100 aircraft from MAG-13 and MAG-39 took to the skies over Southern California, proving 3rd MAW's capability to "Fix, Fly, Fight" and, when needed, advance at a moment's notice.
