A maintainer with Marine Attack Squadron (VMA) 311, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 13, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), prepares to launch the first of 11 AV-8B Harriers while an MV-22B Osprey with MAG-39 flies overhead at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., Feb. 15. Over the course of several hours, more than 100 aircraft from MAG-13 and MAG-39 took to the skies over Southern California, proving 3rd MAW's capability to "Fix, Fly, Fight" and, when needed, advance at a moment's notice.
