Staff Sgt. Nathanael Banden, 4th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal equipment NCO in charge, explains EOD’s innovation proposal Feb. 15, 2019, at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. The proposal highlights a 3-D nylon material printer to create replicated unexploded ordnances for training purposes, as well as equipment for operational use. The unit currently has a polylactic acid 3-D printer, however, nylon material will create more durable and mechanical replicas for more realistic training and operational equipment.
