Commanding officer of USS Mustin, Cmdr. Scott Tait, stands with Petty Officer 3rd Class Christian McGhee at the chart table while giving a ship tour to Yoji Kawashima. Kawashima is a renowned local historian and an expert on the history of Yokosuka Naval Base. Mustin had the privilege of hosting him for lunch and learning the many interesting facts he had to share about this homeport. Mustin is one of seven Arleigh Burke-class destroyers assigned to Destroyer Squadron 15 and is forward-deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet operating out of Yokosuka, Japan.
