U.S. Marines prepare to depart for an assault amphibious battalion splash during exercise Cobra Gold at Assault Amphibious Vehicle Battalion, Royal Thai Marine Division, Feb. 13, 2019, in Sattahip, Kingdom of Thailand. The Marines departed the coast of Thailand in order to return to the USS Green Bay. Exercise Cobra Gold is the largest theater security cooperation exercise in the Indo-Pacific region and is an integral part of the U.S. commitment to strengthen engagement in the region.
