U.S. CENTRAL COMMAND AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (Jan. 31, 2019) U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Angel Marin an aircraft ordnance technician with Marine Attack Squadron 223, attached to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Central Command, installs electronic counter measures on an AV-8B Harrier. The ECM allows the Harrier to deceive radar, sonar or other detection systems and can be used both offensively and defensively to deny targeting information to an enemy. As a quick reaction force, the SPMAGTF-CR-CC is capable of deploying aviation, ground and logistical forces forward at a moment's notice, and supports Operation Inherent Resolve, working by, with, and through the partner forces to defeat ISIS.
