An armored bulldozer, assigned to 40th Brigade Engineer Battalion, begins its initial clearance of the marked defensive location at the Fort Bliss Training Area, New Mexico, Feb. 8. Usually, two bulldozers work together to eliminate the time spent on one site. They will work in a cross pattern where one digs deeper into the defensive position and the other removes the dirt from piling up- allowing the area to look more natural.
