Joseph Harder, commanding officer of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, tours the civil engineering support equipment yard with Construction Mechanic 1st Class Joshua James, assigned to NMCB-3, Det. San Clemente Island, and Lt. Christopher Hebert, officer in charge of NMCB-3, Det. San Clemente Island. NMCB-3 is forward deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region and United States ready to support major combat operations, theater security, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
