The 55th Fighter Squadron patch is displayed as symbol of pride in their building, as they do a preflight brief before stepping to their jets, Jan. 10, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. The 12 F-16 aircraft and approximately 250 airmen deployed to Kunsan Air Base, South Korea for a three-month deployment. The airmen were activated as the 55th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron.
