An Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service Basic Leader Course student provides security during a training exercise that combined lessons in land navigation, tactical movement and reacting to contact near Baghdad, Iraq, Feb. 5, 2019. BLC is led by Iraqi instructors, with assistance from Coalition forces, and teaches soldiers the interpersonal, conceptual, technical, and tactical skills they must know to effectively lead a squad of soldiers.
