Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service Basic Leader Course students provide security while conducting tactical movement to clear a training objective near Baghdad, Iraq, Feb. 5, 2019. BLC is led by Iraqi instructors with assistance from Coalition forces and prepares enlisted CTS soldiers to take leadership roles at the team and squad levels by teaching leadership, training, and warfighting concepts and skills. Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve is committed to ensuring our Iraqi Security Force partners are resilient and self-sustaining in training, equipping and managing their force, and are able to counter future threats independently and establish permanent security across the country.
