Spc. Luke Sanders, a paratrooper assigned to 1st Battalion, 325th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, address a battalion of paratroopers, after leading a formation run on Fort Bragg, N.C., stands next to an enlarged photo of him during recovery. Six months ago, Sanders was in critical condition and suffered severe intracranial hemorrhaging from injuries sustained in a car accident. Paratroopers throughout his brigade came to participate in the run to show their support for Spc. Sanders and his resiliency.
