U.S. Army Reserve Spc. Brendon Gregory, an ammunition specialist with the 364th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), inspects a M240B machine gun during Operation Cold Steel III training at Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif on February 7, 2019. Gregory and his team had to learn how to operate several weapon systems before applying their skills in a simulator. Operation Cold Steel III trains and qualifies Army Reserve Soldiers on M2 .50 caliber machine guns, M19 40 mm automatic grenade launchers and M240 7.62 mm machine guns weapons systems in ground and mounted military vehicles, in order to provide lethal and combat ready units ready to deploy anywhere in the world.
