A young skier takes a try on the slopes during Winter Extravaganza on Jan. 19, 2019, at Whitetail Ridge Ski Area at Fort McCoy, Wis. More than 500 people attended the event that also included numerous contests, such as the rail jam, big-air competition, obstacle course, and a hot-dog-eating contest.
