Battle Group Poland kicks off Operation Raider Thunder a company team level live-fire exercise (CALFEX) which includes platoon-level movement to contact blank and live-fire. NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Poland comprised of U.S., U.K., Croatian and Romanian soldiers who serve with the Polish 15th Mechanized Brigade as a defense and deterrence force in northeast Poland. The exercise is part of NATO’s goals to demonstrate the Alliance’s interoperability and help each participating country maintain the readiness of its forces.
