Pictured is one of the LEGO Shipmodel entries submitted during the 8th Annual LEGO Brick by Brick shipbuilding event. During the event, visitors enjoyed a host of STEM related activities on Saturday, February 2, 2019; including a LEGO shipbuilding contest, static displays of professional LEGO models, and a host of other related activities. The event is hosted by the Hampton Roads Naval Museum in collaboration with the Hampton Roads Naval Historical Foundation and community organizations with the goal of bringing STEM related education and naval history to the community. This year’s event was held at the Decker Half Moone Cruise Center in Norfolk, Virginia and attracted a crowd of over 5,200 visitors. The event is held annually during the first weekend in February.
