The 5th Battalion guidon is yielded for the last time as Soldiers of the 1-333rd Multifunctional Training Battalion (formerly named 5th Battalion), a former down trace unit of 94th Training Division-Force Sustainment, after having the 1st Mission Support Command Garita patch placed on their uniform sleeve at Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico for the 1st MSC transformation integration ceremony hosted by Brig. Gen. Dustin Shultz, 1st MSC commanding general on Dec. 9, 2018, where the commemoration for the transition of the 1-333rd Battalion from the 94th TD-FS to the 1st MSC footprint took place.
