Pfc. Drew Anderson, 576th Engineer Company, embraces his wife, Shawna Anderson, Dec. 30 after a welcome home ceremony. Drew Anderson deployed in August with almost 200 other combat engineers to provide route clearance and sanitation missions in Afghanistan. An end-of-year accelerated reduction of forces resulted in almost half of the unit redeploying after only four months.
