Cpl. Marcus Terry, Marine Barracks Washington grounds maintenance Marine, was promoted to the rank of corporal in the United States Marine Corps Dec. 1. The 20-year-old native of Henderson, N.C., graduated from Northern Vance High School in 2009 and joined the Marine Corps in June of that year.
