U.S. Marine Brig. Gen. Sean M. Salene, left, and Republic of Korea Marine Lt. Gen. Jun, Jin Goo, arrive at Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 267’s hangar on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 25, 2019. Jun, along with other ROK staff members, visited HMLA-267, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, to gain a better understanding of how the unit operates and supports aviation elements. This visit served to strengthen the relationship between the ROK Marines and 1st MAW. Salene is the assistant wing commander of 1st MAW and Jun is the commandant of the ROK Marine Corps.
