Thomas McBrien IV, spokesperson for the “United we Stand/United we SθW” flag, discusses the many different people that contributed to the overall design of the flag and the time it took to create. The flag was a joint effort of over 500 volunteers from both Bucks County, Pa., and Hunterdon County, N.J., and took over five month to finish the 2,983 miniature flags that represented each lost soul in the attacks, Sept. 11, 2001.
