Canadian forces Lt. Gen. Tom Lawson, North American Aerospace Defense Command deputy commander and NORAD Tracks Santa volunteer "Christmas" Karol Vanderploeg, take calls from children at the NTS Operations Center, Dec. 24, 2011. Volunteers answered nearly 102,000 calls this year from children looking for Santa Claus, up over 20,000 from 2010.
