G Co. bids a fond farewell to Cowboy Dustoff name (for now)

Wyoming Army National Guard aviators traded in their horse and rider patch for one of these new Old Ironsides patches and became part of Task Force Iron Dragons, the Iron Eagle Brigade, 1st Armored Division at a patch ceremony Jan. 15, 2019. Wyoming Army National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk crews are conducting pre-mobilization training at Fort Bliss, Texas, before deploying to various parts of Afghanistan. The unit has lost its traditional Cowboy Dustoff nickname for the time being. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt. 1st Class Jimmy McGuire)
