Maj. Gen. John Gordy, U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center commander, drives a 27-foot SeaArk harbor security patrol boat Jan. 17, 2019, at Joint Base Charleston, S.C. During USAF EC leadership’s visit, they toured various facilities across the installation for a behind-the-scenes look at base operations and watched service members in action. The USAF EC is the Air Force’s Center of Excellence for advanced mobility and combat support training and education. The center also has direct oversight for installation support, contingency response and mission sets within the global mobility enterprise.
