MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Jan. 21, 2019) Sergeant Ryan Hollenberger, a machine gunner and Corporals Course faculty advisor with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, observes a Marine while he practices with a guidon in the well-deck of the USS Arlington (LPD 24) in the Mediterranean Sea , Jan. 21, 2019. The USS Arlington is making a scheduled deployment as part of the 22nd MEU and the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group, in support of maritime security operations, crisis response and theatre security cooperation, while also providing a forward Naval and Marine presence.
