190121-N-RI884-0099 PHILIPPINE SEA (Jan. 21, 2019) An AS-332 Super Puma helicopter transports supplies from the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Wally Schirra (T-AKE 8) to the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) during a vertical replenishment. Wasp, flagship of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
