Stephen Peterson (center), deputy commander, Savannah District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, visited the Gillionville Road temporary disposal and reduction site in Dougherty County, Georgia, Jan. 17. During his visit, he was interviewed by Albany, Georgia, reporter Ashley Bohle of WALB. Peterson discussed potential uses of the over four million cubic yards of vegetative debris that has been collected in 13 southwest Georgia, counties.
