Maj. Gen. Jim Huggins, 82nd Airborne Division and Regional Command (South) commanding general, thanks Spc. Trent J. Lalande, rifleman, Police Mentor Team, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1-32 Infantry, from Rotunda, Fla., for his service and sacrifice after Huggins pinned on his Purple Heart during an awards ceremony held on Forward Operating Base Howz-e-Madad Christmas Day. Huggins, along with Command Sgt. Maj. Bryant C. Lambert, 82nd Airborne Division and Regional Command (South) command sergeant major, traveled through the region to visit with service members for the holiday.
