U.S. Army Sgt. Marcos Rangel assigned to the 91st Brigade Engineer Battalion, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division participates in the final competition to determine the top Soldier and NCO of the Year at Camp Aachen in Grafenwoehr, Germany Jan. 10, 2019. After winning NCO of the Month and NCO of the Quarter competitions, Sgt. Rangel would go on to win the NCO of the Year competition for the Saber Battalion. His diligence, resiliency and attention to detail contributed to him setting himself apart from his peers and being named the 2018 battalion Top NCO.
