U.S. Army Cpl. Olivia Silver assigned to the 91st Brigade Engineer Battalion, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division hurries to plot locations on the map in the final competition to determine the top Soldier and NCO of the Year at Camp Aachen in Grafenwoehr, Germany Jan. 10, 2019. After winning Soldier of the Month and Soldier of the Quarter competitions, Cpl. Silver would go on to win the Soldier of the Year competition for the Saber Battalion , her diligence, resiliency and attention to detail contributed to her setting herself apart among her peers and being the 2018 top Soldier.
