People look over Christmas trees to take home after a Federal Express (FedEx) semi tractor-trailer loaded with Christmas trees dropped off the trees as part of Trees for Troops on Dec. 6, 2018, at the housing area on South Post at Fort McCoy, Wis. FedEx picked up trees at 45 different farms for Trees for Troops in the United States in 2018, according to treesfortroops.org. Of those 16,599 trees, 200 of them went out to four overseas military bases while the other 16,399 were enjoyed by troops stationed stateside at 67 different bases, including Fort McCoy.
