As Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program director, Cmdr. Michael Gentile had immediate impact on the educational advancement of eight residents as evidenced by his recognition as Educator of the Year 2018. During this past year, as co-director of the craniofacial team, he provided exceptional care to 97 craniofacial patients and 21 surgical craniofacial patients in their multidisciplinary treatment.
